Wildlife & Recreation

The ranch is located in Montana Hunting District 380 which is a special draw area for 120 permits and harbors some of the best bull elk in the state. In addition tags for antlerless elk are more readily available. Both whitetail and mule deer can be hunted on a general tag. This ranch would qualify a new owner for landowner preference opportunities. The ranch is home to ample populations of whitetail deer, Hungarian partridge, ring-neck pheasant and migratory waterfowl of all kinds. Elk occasionally raid the west pivot but proximity to thousands of acres of public lands make the opportunity for this species endless.

This particular section of the Missouri is home to Trout in colder water seasons and are replaced by Carp, and the occasional Pike and Walleye as temperatures rise. Canyon Ferry Dam is a short drive away providing some of the best Walleye in the state. Endless blue Ribbon Trout fisheries can be found within an hours drive.
