Dillon, MT is located just an hour away and offers a considerable array of commercial, institutional, and social enterprises including grocery, banking, auto-dealers, movie theater, churches, restaurants, hotels, and taverns. The education system includes two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The higher education system was established in 1892 with the Montana Normal College, now called University of Montana-Western.

Elk, deer, and other wildlife can be viewed on the property allowing many hunting opportunities for resident hunters. Fishing in the Big Hole River is only a few minutes away along the Big Hole River. The Pioneer Mountains are close-by and provide endless opportunities for exploration and recreation of all kinds!
