Dillon offers a considerable array of commercial, institutional, and social enterprises including grocery, banking, auto-dealers, movie theater, churches, restaurants, hotels, and taverns.  Barrett Memorial Hospital offers a large range of medical and specialist services to Dillon and surrounding area residents.  Two long-term elderly care facilities are also located in Dillon.  The education system includes two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.  The higher education system was established in 1892 with The Montana Normal College, now called University of Montana-Western.  Private aircraft service is available at the Dillon airport with a 6,500 ft paved strip.  Expanded international commercial air services are available in Idaho Falls, ID or Butte, MT.

Butte, Montana is a larger Montana city and is less than two hours from the property offering a commercial airport (Bert Mooney Airport).

Secondary to agriculture, Beaverhead County is well known for its recreation, this area in particular! Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, contiguous to Nip & Tuck Ranch, is the largest National Forest in Montana, covering 3+ million acres and spanning eight counties. Hike in the Anaconda-Pintler or Lee Metcalf Wilderness; drive the Gravelly Range Road or Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway; or camp in one of the 50 campgrounds in the forest. Many nearby attractions within a short drive, including Georgetown Lake and ghost towns of Bannack, Elkhart and Coolidge. No matter your interest, there is something here for everyone!

The Nip & Tuck Ranch is located in Hunting District 329 which is known for big game hunting, including elk, moose, deer, bears, and antelope. This ranch’s location provides optimal opportunity to hunt both Idaho and Montana.

Along with hunting and agriculture, Beaverhead County is also home of world class fishing opportunities! Some of which can be done right on the property! With approximately 2.5+ miles of Nip and Tuck Creek flowing throughout the property, the walk and wade dry fly fishing is outstanding! The creek is filled with cutthroat and brook trout. 

35+ minutes from the ranch will find you at Clark Canyon Reservoir which spans nearly 5,000 acres and has 17+ miles of shoreline. This reservoir serves as the source of the Beaverhead River where anglers will find great rainbow, brown trout, and mountain whitefish. The Beaverhead River is narrow and willow-lined and known for some of the best trophy trout fishing in the country.

Flowing from Leadore, Idaho into the Salmon River in Salmon, Idaho is the Lemhi River — a 60+ mile long moderate sized stream. There, you will find some nice-sized rainbow trout that can average 16 inches or larger!

A 45+ minute drive from Nip & Tuck Ranch will find you casting a fly on the Red Rock River, which begins in the Centennial Mountains of Montana and flows through the Lima Dam becoming more accessible and popular. With Cottonwood trees lining the bank, the fly fishing is primarily for rainbow and brown trout. 

With the abundant water supplied by Nip & Tuck Creek,  four ponds, and a natural spring, this ranch lends itself to the rancher looking to pasture cattle.

Although nestled in the Beaverhead Mountains and surrounded by endless public land, the Nip & Tuck Ranch is NOT OFF GRID and therefore has Vigilante Electric power, fiber optics, and water from a spring.
