Approximately 720 acres are under sprinkler irrigation. There are another 160 acres that can be flood irrigated, depending on the water situation in a given year.
Current ownership of Chute Canyon Ranch has implemented a combination of pasture grazing and hay production on the irrigated lands. Typical production of the hay-only side is in the 3-4 ton-per-acre range. Investment has been made in some pivots with new seeding. All infrastructure is workable and 2 pivots are brand new!
