TBD Canyon Creek is very remote, but is just a short 15 mile drive to the quaint town of Melrose, MT. A short distance farther will find you in either Dillon, MT or Butte, MT.

Amenities are minimal in Melrose, however, the small grade school serves students in grades Pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. For additional needs, less than an hour drive will find you in Dillon or Butte, where a commercial airport exists. These towns offer a considerable array of commercial, institutional, and social enterprises including hospitals, grocery, banking, auto-dealers, movie theater, churches, restaurants, hotels, and taverns.

Like many small towns in Montana, Melrose was a freighting stop for the Hecla mines and established in the 1870s. The town still has several log and frame buildings typical of late 19th Century mining towns. Melrose is located on a scenic stretch of the Big Hole River and is nestled in the Pioneer Mountains. This small Montana town is famous for its trout fishing and marvy Melrose Bar and Cafe, a classic western watering hole.

Access to this property will be via permit with the US Forest Service. Property is accessed via 4WD vehicle or an ATV.
