The town still has several log and frame buildings typical of late 19th Century mining towns. Melrose is located on a scenic stretch of the Big Hole River and is nestled in the Pioneer Mountains. This small Montana town is famous for its trout fishing and marvy Melrose Bar and Cafe, a classic western watering hole.
