Southwest Montana, Beaverhead County and the general Dillon area have received over an inch of rain in the last 72 hours, according to NOAA Weather Center. In our country, the right moisture at the right time grows some great forage. The area’s agricultural real estate will see our native cool season grass species come on with this rain including Sandberg Bluegrass and June grass. Idaho Fescue, Bluebunch Wheatgrass, Green Needlegrass and Needle & Thread will be making our hills green the next few weeks! Cattle will be getting fat, calves will be growing-
